This project was designed as a dedicated communication hub for Piedmont Athens Regional's volunteer program, catering to over 500 student volunteers from diverse fields, including pre-med, pre-nursing, education, business, and psychology. Inspired by Discord’s intuitive interface, I created a platform that simplifies interactions, fosters collaboration, and enhances information flow among student volunteers.

Built with scalability and ease-of-use in mind, this platform includes organized channels for discussions, resources, and real-time updates, replacing the need for email and Outlook communications. Utilizing Neon DB for data management, the platform features a role-based structure where users can assume roles like admin, moderator, or member, enhancing functionality and team dynamics. I also integrated Socket.io for seamless video conferencing, enabling volunteers to connect virtually and collaborate effectively.

This project showcases my ability to create tailored digital solutions that address specific organizational needs, reinforcing my commitment to enhancing efficiency and communication in healthcare environments.
